- Devin makes a habit of tracking every movie he watches for the first time each year and bringing the count up the following year.
- While writing for /Film, Devin interviewed Dan Perri, title sequence designer for "Star Wars," "Taxi Driver," and a dozen other classic films.
- Devin's essay on Charles Laughton's "The Night of the Hunter" was published in print by Film Matters Magazine, "The Magazine For the Future Film Scholars."
Experience
Devin's writing ranges from entertainment criticism to news reporting. To pursue his passion, he first wrote movie reviews recreationally at Letterboxd and for his university's student paper, "The Denisonian." He has since taken up freelancing and has written for IGN, Comic Book Resources, Film Matters Magazine, and of course /Film.
Education
Devin holds a Bachelor of Arts in cinema and English. He graduated cum laude from Denison University, located in Granville, Ohio.
